I have lived in Chicago for the last 11 years. Originally from New Hampshire, I am still an east coast girl at heart. I came to Chicago to study at DePaul University and quickly immersed myself into the Chicago Real Estate Market. Starting as an intern for a small real estate brokerage, I have worked every position in the residential real estate world you can imagine. I have spent the last 5 years of my career in multifamily property management. In the beginning of 2017 I was given the opportunity to to take the culmination of my experience and become the director of sales for KIG. KIG is a institutional brokerage so  in layman's terms,  I sell large apartment buildings to investors.

Outside of the office I have a few passions. I love interior design, updating my own decor and consulting with friends is a full blown obsession. I am always changing something in my own home whether it's adding legs to  a piece of furniture or painting an accent wall, I love a weekend DIY project.

I also love to cook. It may be my Italian heritage or growing up with a mother who is magnificent in the kitchen. I have deemed myself #chefmarissa, which my brother loves to make fun of mercilessly. Playing with flavors or making alterations to a classic dish is just plain old fun for me. On a second thought, my love for cooking may just be because I love to eat!

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. I hope to share parts of my world with you along the way.

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.
